The Happy Tongue 2.5 Ring by Bombers Bit is made for when a horse is shaking its head when bit pressure is applied. If its tongue is trying to escape the bit, these are classic signs the horse has a sensitive tongue.
With this in mind the Happy Tongue was created. It has a medium port creating space for the tongue, relieving pressure, allowing the horse to relax.
Hence, Happy Tongue is a solid mouth piece. It is curved and ported to give tongue relief.
Furthermore, a Ring cheek piece introduces poll pressure as well creating leverage on the mouthpiece, the 2 ½ ring version is the softest version of ring bit as the ½ ring softens the leverage on the mouthpiece and poll.
Additionally, all Bomber bits are made from blue sweet iron, because it:
- oxidises easily
- encourages salivation
- helps bit acceptance
- is warm and sweet
Please note the blue will fade with use.
